First of all, thank you so much for all who's been taking part in this! I've always wanted to be a part of a group effort where people get to create fictional characters and whatnot for a single collective, and the Pantheon has turned out to be surprisingly popular.
I decided to create this journal to keep the deity creation one down to somewhat reasonable size. No need to crowd one journal with multiple things, seeing that one is enough to make it big as is.
EDIT 31st August 2015: Since there have been no new votes, I think we can call it. The option with most votes is:
B) All deities live in their own planes/realms of existence separate from the mortal realm, from where they govern their domains and occasionally visit other deities' realms. These planes are typically fashioned according to the domains and the will of the specific deity, varying in looks and in planar behavior (e.g. one might be completely filled with water and marine creatures, another is but an empty void with no gravity, and one could be a vast library with infinite number of rooms and shelves).
Of course, since many have already established it in their deity entries, the gods can visit the mortal realm as they please. I'm picturing it taking place via avatars or some other medium, with the god/goddess never completely leaving his/her home realm, but that's just my view of things.
Demigods live on the mortal realm by default, since they have mortal blood in them and lack the power to permanently live on separate planes of existence. Some demigods could live with the gods, but only if the gods have allowed the demigod(s) in question to live among them.
The next question is; Should The Pantheon be turned into a proper deviantART group? I'm picturing that with the upcoming lore and such, a handful or journals won't be enough to handle all of it.
Also, I've no idea how making a dA group works and if it needs premium account, so any info on that would be helpful.
For the list of gods made so far, see this journal: The Pantheon: Deity creation fun (update)

BlooberBoy plans for 2024
Now that we're a couple of weeks in 2024, I think it's time to post one of these journals again. -23 went by pretty quick, and I'm still kinda reeling from that. xD It wasn't too bad of a year on my part, in general. So, what's in store for this year, you might ask? It's gonna be a bit of a long list, so be warned. :XD: Tl;dr: I'll up my commission prices due to increased living costs, make a Subscription gallery for additional income, rearrange my gallery a bit, maybe make a Discord server, and hopefully finish the current Sketchventures game project. Price increases First of all, the cost of living is going up here, and I have to compensate accordingly. Unfortunately, that means I have to up my commission prices. >u> The increase ain't too drastic, though. I think adding $5 to the base prices should be enough, which means the pictures will start at $30 (Sketch), $50 (Lineart), and $80 (Full art). Additional costs I'll keep as is for now. I'll change the prices either in February
Sketchventures the game: A year later
Tl;dr: Game progress is slow, but ongoing. I might take a break from it once the prologue is done, but we'll see. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey folks! How's it going? Good, I hope. :) It looks like it's already been a year since since the last Sketchventures part I posted. Man, that time went fast... Anyway, for those who've been keeping up, I've not been sitting on my hands regarding that. I've been slowly plucking away at a playable version of the series, focusing on recreating the story and sequences like they happened. So far the game's playable to this point, part 20: Not very far story-wise, I know. >u>; The biggest hurdles have been learning to use my program of choice, Adventure Game Studio, and remaking the scenes and sprites from existing material. Very tedious work at times, as I didn't have turning Sketchventures into a proper game in mind from the very start. :XD: I've got a decent grasp of the program's basics by now, which
Next Sketchventures update and upcoming hiatus
If you've been wondering when the next Sketchventures part is coming, fear not. It will come sooner than later. I've just been having some motivation troubles getting it done. Sorry about that. =u=; I'll try to get it done in the following week or two so you don't have to wait for much longer. I think the next part will be where I'll pause the series for the time being, as well. I've exhausted the little plot I've thought for it, and I think it's as good time as any to start turning the existing material into the adventure game I promised at the start of this year. Hopefully that'll give me some time to think what I want to do with the series in the future. As I've said before, I just don't want to drop it as yet another unfinished project. >u> Anywho, just wanted to let you know what's up.
